  • Hold on Account : Enabling this service will allow SBI to send SMS whenever there is a hold on your Account.
  • Remove hold on Account Balance : Enabling this service will allow SBI to send SMS whenever hold has been removed on your Account Balance.
  • Account getting credited above set limit : If any Amount which gets credited to your Account is greater than the Amount entered in this space, you will receive notification from SBI. You can change this limit to any value equal to or above Rs.5000.
  • Account getting debited above set limit : If any Amount which gets debited from your Account is greater than the Amount entered in this space, you will receive notification from SBI. You can change this limit to any value equal to or above Rs.5000.
  • Account Balance falls below set limit : If your Account Balance falls below the limit mentioned in this space, you will receive notification from SBI. You can change this limit to any value of your choice.

Steps to Activate SMS Alerts in SBI Online

Before reading the process for SMS Alerts Activation in SBI Online, make sure that your Mobile Number is registered with SBI.

To Activate SMS Alerts in SBI Online, please follow the step by step process mentioned below :

1) Login to Online SBI using your Internet Banking Password and Username.

2) Click on e-Services option in the Top Menu.
