  • Account Holder’s Name
  • Account Number
  • Mobile Number of the Account Holder
  • Option to receive the account balance amount by (1) Cash (2) Cheque/Draft (3) Balance transfer to any other Bank account
  • Signature of Authorized Signatory of the Bank Account

2) Return your Debit Card, Cheque Book & Passbook

As soon as you fill up the Syndicate Bank Account Closure, gather all the documents received from your Syndicate Bank Branch such as Debit Card, Syndicate Bank Cheque Book & Bank Passbook. You are required to surrender these documents at the Syndicate Bank Home Branch during closure of your Savings/Current Bank Account.

In case your Syndicate Bank Account Balance is below the minimum balance requirement but above Zero, you will get the remaining amount only. However, if you Account Balance is in minus i.e., below Zero, you will need to follow an extra step to deposit the non-maintenance and/or fine amount.

3) Submit your Address & Identity Proof Documents

In order to prove your Identity and Address to the Bank, you may also need to provide the photostat copies of your Address and ID Proof Documents in Syndicate Bank.

Once you have completely followed the above 3 steps to close Syndicate Bank Account, your request will be forwarded and processed to your Syndicate Bank Home Branch and your account will be closed. You will receive the Account Balance by the mode of payment mentioned in your Account Closure Form i.e., through Cash, Cheque/Draft or Transfer to any Other Bank Account.
